Celeste is an Industry Recovery and Resilience Officer (IRRO) based in Longreach, supporting producers and communities across Central Western Queensland.

With a strong background in agriculture and regional engagement, Celeste brings both practical and professional experience to the role. She has previously worked as Regional Manager with AgForce Queensland, supporting members across Southern Inland Queensland through extension activities, events, and stakeholder engagement.

Prior to this, she worked as an Animal Science Technical Officer with the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries in Charters Towers, contributing to research and extension projects focused on livestock production, pasture management, and land condition.

Celeste holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Honours) from the University of Queensland and is currently completing a Master of Economics (Agribusiness). Having grown up on a family sheep station near Hughenden, she has a strong connection to the land and firsthand understanding of the challenges facing rural businesses, including drought, flooding, and climate variability.
