Project’s value to CWQ

Red Ridge works across outback Queensland to helps create healthy and resilient communities from its base in Blackall by bringing people together in art and cultural activities.

We enrich their lives and we protect our heritage by working with our communities, government and donors. Our focus is the social and economic health of our own communities and all who live here.

It supports, fosters and encourages communities within the central regions through the arts. By involving regional communities in workshops, projects and events, we aim to inspire unity and betterment of central Queensland.

Red Ridge has grown organically since it’s beginning as a RAPAD entity, establishing projects and programs in response to the community’s needs and suggestions. These projects include, but are not limited to; visual arts, performances, literature, design, film and multimedia projects.
