WQAC Submission Productivity Commission Inquiry – Determinants of Regional Airfares

RAPAD, through the Western Queensland Alliance of Councils (WQAC) developed this submission.

The commission is scheduled to release a paper in June 2026 with a Draft Report in Late 2026 followed by an opportunity for Final Submissions. Public Hearings will be held after the close of Final Submissions.

The WQAC Leadership Group will closely monitor the commentary in the paper and Draft Report and continue to pursue the most favourable Inquiry recommendations for Western Queensland communities.
