Strong CWQ contingent meets with senior government representatives

All seven RAPAD mayors, supported by Deputy Mayors, CEOs, councillors and senior staff, were in St George at the 6th WQAC Assembly this week – stepping up to ensure a strong, united voice from the Central West at this important forum.

With a focus on key issues across Western Queensland, the assembly presented a significant opportunity to meet with senior state and federal elected representatives in-region, as well as hear from project partners, industry, research and education, health and wellbeing, and community groups.

RAPAD also welcomed funding announced by Deputy Premier Jarrod Bleijie at the Assembly that is set to boost regional housing solutions and economic development initiatives across our region.
