Industry Recovery and Resilience Officer Program

RAPAD is proud to continue its support for our region’s flood affected primary producers to recover from the impacts and strengthen their businesses through the Industry Recovery and Resilience Officer Program.

RAPAD’s IRROs are available to support primary producers in Central West Queensland impacted by the 2025 Western Queensland floods.

The Industry Recovery and Resilience Officer program, recovery loans and grants are jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland governments under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).

Free, impartial support to help primary producers recover from and prepare for future natural disasters.

RAPAD’s Industry Recovery and Resilience Officers, Celeste Ogg and Emma Hay can help you:

  • better understand the risks facing your rural business
  • identify and develop strategies to mitigate risk
  • build resilience to the impacts of future climate-driven events such as floods, bushfires and droughts by developing
  • access financial support and mental health support.

IRROs can come to your farm or connect via phone or online and work with you to identify risks and strategies to mitigate disaster impacts.

As part of the RAPAD team, Celeste and Emma work alongside colleagues across the organisation including Rural Financial Counsellors, Business Wellness Coaches and Farm Business Planning Officers.

Get in touch with Celeste or Emma to discuss your situation and find out more about connecting to these services.
